Start With The Packed Footprint
Measure the goods as they will be arranged on the pallet. Record length and width separately from loaded height. Include carton projections, bags that spread under load and equipment feet. Check the receiving warehouse, doors and storage locations before choosing a footprint.
A custom-size wooden pallet can be discussed when the goods do not suit a familiar format. A sketch of the packing pattern often explains the requirement more clearly than a product name.

Check The Equipment And Storage
Specify the forklift or pallet jack and the sides from which entry is required. Include base clearance and any receiving-site restrictions. For racking, share the beam span and support direction rather than assuming any standard-size pallet is suitable.

Send A Clear Size Brief
State your units, quantity, packed weight, load pattern and delivery city. If the pallet must match a buyer’s drawing, send that drawing through email or WhatsApp after preparing your enquiry. Ask for the agreed pallet height and dimensional tolerances to be included in the order specification.
